DigiMal.nrw

The joint project DigiMal.nrw (Digital Mathematics Teacher Education) aims to improve the quality of central courses in the mathematics teacher training program (focus on elementary school / basic mathematics education) with the help of digitally supported measures in such a way that students' access to the subject and didactics of mathematics is effectively expanded. The focus is on the development and testing of digital learning opportunities for mathematics didactics courses within the framework of teacher training (teacher training in elementary school).

Funded by the Ministry of Culture and Science together with the Digital University NRW in the funding line "OERContent.nrw" (Open Education Resources).

Subproject "Heterogeneity in mathematics education".

In the sub-project "Heterogeneity in Mathematics Education" of the Universities of Paderborn, Dortmund and Wuppertal, student teachers are prepared for dealing with diversity in mathematics education from different directions of diversity. The event materials developed by us are made available to students as working materials or to teachers as accompanying materials with concrete suggestions for use in teaching and examination activities as well as further background information. Due to their digital availability, they can be used flexibly in face-to-face or blended learning formats, for individual consolidation or for exam preparation.

Head of the subproject Heterogeneity: Elke Söbbeke, Uta Häsel-Weide (Uni Paderborn) & Christoph Selter (TU Dortmund)
